First you need to realize that nursery needs light, a lot of it and if you choose the curtains which are to thick, you can loose a light coming from outside. I know that people choose thick curtains in good faith, to give their youngster a calm environment when sleeping, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Children need to observe shadows produced by the light coming trough the windows. Development of their brain is much affected by the surrounding. Abstract thinking (right side of brains) is being developed in the first couple of months. The other aspect is air. 2. Length of baby curtains: There are couple of factors which I described above which also apply to this point, but what would I like to point out here, can be easily done with couple of questions: Do you wish your baby being able to grab the curtains?
